Not Dead

Sorry, guys, but for various reasons I don't think there will be much (if anything) in the realm of posts for Nov. Sorry I didn't finish those NaNo posts *sigh*... bear with me, I'll attempt to return in December.

"Moo" in Nossa Morte

Once upon a time, Merc was driving home from work and (as always) passed a cow farm near her house. The herd of cows was meandering through the drain under the road that connected two fields--a common enough sight for Merc, but on this gray afternoon, a story snippet popped into her head.

I brought him inside and named him Moo. I could replace the cow later.

This evolved into the little horror story titled "Moo".

After writing "Moo", it took awhile before I at last found a home for it, but it was worth the wait. Nossa Morte published it in the November 2009 issue and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks to everyone who helped and encouraged me on this one! :D It's a definite favorite of mine and I'm very pleased it found a good home.
